Friday, 26th March Kurt played to a sold-out concert in his home town, Bergen, Norway. One of the local newspapers, BergensTidene, interviewed he and Elin (his guest artist) and were also allowed to film and send out 2 of his songs, "Don't Have What It Takes" and "Rise To The Occasion", (and 1 from Elin) from the concert.

Kurt in Skien: - A Fantastic Experience

�A fantastic experience to get to open here,� said Kurt Nilsen after the opening show of his Norway tour in Ibsenhuset on Tuesday evening. Both Elin Gaustad and the audience agreed on this.

X-factor-favourite from Molde was the warm up act with 4 slow songs. Then it was the turn of the World Idol. Nilsen charmed from the first tone � even though it was in a quieter way. This tour is not a party and rock �n� roll, but country, blues and folk.

�We have dreamt of doing this type of tour for many years, but have never had the chance. Now we have been given the opportunity and it feels so very nice,� says the Kurt.

Kurt and Elin on Senkveld

On Friday 19th February 2010, Kurt and Elin Gaustad (2009 X-factor contestant) appeared on the Norwegian talk show, Senkveld. After a short interview the pair for the first time sang a duet - "The Water is Wide".

Kurt Tour 2010

Today, 4th December 2009, it was announced by Kurt's manager, Jan Fredrik Karlsen that Kurt will do a new Norway tour between March and May 2010 :)

It will start in Skien on 2nd March and he will visit 26 different places throughout Norway. It will be in more "intimate" concert places and will comprise of his songs from his "musical journey" over the years.

The guys on tour - again

Aftenposten was there when Kurt Nilsen, Askil Holm, Alejandro Fuentes and Espen Lind practised for their new �Hallelujah Live� tour.

On Friday the �Hallelujah buddies� will be out on the road again. �Those who believe we can relive the success of 2006 must have a hole in the head,� says Espen Lind.

Through the garage doors, in a well equipped studio in Storo in Oslo came the sounds of the legendary rock classic �Brown Sugar�. No, it was not The Rolling Stones who had made a surprise visit to the city. It is Espen Lind, Kurt Nilsen, Alejandro Fuentes and Askil Holm, who the media have christened both �Hallelujah and the New Guitar Buddies�, who are intensively practising for their new tour.

Three years ago it was �Hallelujah�. Now Espen Lind(37), Kurt Nilsen(30), Alejandro Fuentes(21) and Askil Holm(28 ) will entertain Norway with the U2 song �With or Without You�. �There are good butterflies in the stomach. Now we are on the go again,� smiles Kurt to VG, after he and the rest of the guys have performed their new single in the TV2 studios for Friday�s Senkveld show.

GEILO (VG) It was Monday evening that Espen Lind (37), Kurt Nilsen (30), Alejandro Fuentes (21) and Askil Holm (28) made the decision; there will be more Hallelujah and an album in the summer.

It was when manager, Jan Fredrik Karlsen collected together his successful quartet from 2006 for a late Christmas dinner at Vestlia Resort in Geilo, that it quickly turned into a brainstorming session about a repertoire for an up and coming album. So �Hallelujah Live Vol. 2�, which the new project has been temporarily named, will be the best of the guy�s own hand picked cover songs.
